Jwala Gutta is a left-handed Indian badminton player of mixed Indian and Chinese descent who has won the National Badminton Championships thirteen times until 2010. She is a doubles badminton player who has partnered with Shruti Kurien and later Ashwini Ponnappa. She was the wife of Chetan Anand, an Arjuna Awardee however, the two divorced in 2011. Jwala Gutta apperaing in item number with Nitin's upcoming movie Gunde Jari Gallanthayyindhe.

Early life

Jwala was born on 7 September 1983 in Wardha, Maharashtra and brought up in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, to a Telugu Indian father and a Chinese mother. Jwala's father, Kranti Gutta, hailed from a family of freedom fighters and Leftists. Her mother, Yelan Gutta, was born in Tianjin, and is a granddaughter of a Gandhian named Tseng. Yelan first came to India in 1977 with her grandfather to visit the Sevagram ashram, where she translated Gandhi's autobiography and other works into Chinese language.

Personal life
During her Badminton career, Jwala Gutta began dating fellow badminton player Chetan Anand, who was the 1999 Junior National Badminton Champion and 2003, 2007, 2008, and 2010 Senior National Badminton Champion and has been honored with an Arjuna Award. The couple married on 17 July 2005 and got divorced on 29 June 2011.

Kiccha Sudeep and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn had earlier starred in the remakes of Tamil film Singam in Kannada and Hindi versions, respectively. The Bollywood and Sandalwood versions, like Kollywood instalment, had become hits. Now, this factor has made the makers of Singam 2, the sequel to Singam, to invite for the audio launch function of the event. According to reports, director Hari has invited Sudeep, who has become a popular name in Tamil after Naan Ee, the Kollywood version of Telugu film Eega, and Ajay Devgn to be special guests at the event. The movies bosses are leaving no stone unturned to make the music release function a hit. Hence, they have planned for a grand function and invited the Kannada superstar and the Bollywood star. As the actors were associated with Singam earlier, the makers of the film felt that it would be a good idea to invite Sudeep and Ajay Devgn. Along with them, Rohit Shetty, the director of Hindi version of Singam, will also be part of the event. Reports say that Kiccha and Devgn have accepted the offer and have given green signal to be part of the function

Sudeep had starred in the remake of Singam, which was the blockbuster film of Surya where the lead actor was seen in the role of a cop. As a result, the makers of the Singam 2 had invited Kiccha and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn to be the special guests at the music release function. But the Hindi actor did not turn up to the function for some reasons. The event was held at Chennai Trader Center, Chennai, on Sunday (June 2).
The Kannada actor was grandly welcomed on stage by the Singam 2 and he was made to launch the audio of Singam 2. As Kiccha and Ajay Devgn were associated with Singam earlier, the makers of the film felt that it would be a good idea to invite the Sandalwood and Bollywood stars.
