Ayesha Takia, model turned actress, always wanted to be in films. Born to a Gujarati father and half British and half Maharashtrian mother, she started doing ads at the tender age of four and has appeared in more than 60 commercials. Before entering Bollywood showbiz, the dazzling beauty appeared in Falguni Pathaks music video Meri Chunar but got recognition with the album Shake It Daddy.
Ayesha Takyia won the Filmfare best debutant award in 2004 for her performance in "Taarzan". After that Ayesha acted in many films but most of them were unsuccessful at the box office. Ayisha Takia beautifully essayed the role of a young widow of Rajasthan living in a traditional joint family in the film "Dor". She was highly praised for her work in this film and went on to win Zee cine critics award for best actress.
Her stunning figure and pretty looks caught everyones eye and the optimism and faith in life makes her a very positive person. Ayesha made her entry into South Indian Films with the hit Telugu movie Super (2005) co-starring Nagarjuna.
