Panja is the forthcoming Telugu movie of the famous Power Star Pawan Kalyan. This movie comes after Teenmaar, his Love Aaj Kal remake. So far, we can only say that the Panja Movie is going to be an out-and-out action entertainer and a stylish one at that – something that you would expect from the director Vishnuvardhan, who had already impressed us with his massively successful Tamil hit ‘Billa’.
Pawan kalian will be playing two characters in Panjaaa, and the story is about an underworld don, with pawan kalian doing the main role. The movie had some problems to start with, in the naming part; they tried various titles for the movie such as Shadow, Kaali, Power, etc. and they eventually went for ‘Panja’ as the title.
The two leading ladies, namely Anjali Lavania and Sarah Jane Dias are models; we can expect them to add a lot of glamour to the songs. In fact, we hear that Anjali will do belly dance in the film.
Music is from none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja -- the most popular composer down south today, after A.R. Rahman went missing from the Tollywood music scene for a while.
The movie will have some great film editing work by Sreekar Prasad – his efforts already show in Panja trailer. Shyam Kaushal, who is known for his action choreography is part of the crew, apart from Shyam Kaushal and P.S. Vinod who do the camera job.
The shooting for Panja Movie is almost over now and the film is expected to hit movie screens across Andhra and the world on December 9, 2011.
We see that a lot of big names from the movie industry are taking part in this movie – a reason to have our expectations soaring high.
Overall, if everything goes well, we can expect a great movie for this year’s Christmas season in the form of Vishnuvardhan’s Panja.
